We built the central server and operations screens of the site system for a brand exhibition space in Gangnam, Seoul, that runs 31 show doors and the LEDs above them. Operators open and close doors from a floor-plan screen, run staggered wave sequences and schedules, and the system tells several media vendors’ playback systems in real time when doors open and close. Another team built the door-control program that drives the PLC contacts; we also designed the control-panel layout and wiring and handled commissioning and test runs on site.
Challenge
Dozens of doors across several floors had to open and close remotely, in groups and in timed sequences to match the show. Everything had to work safely with visitor buttons, fire-alarm signals and several media vendors’ playback systems.
