We developed an edge-blending player that drives four projectors (three to six by design) from one PC to play a seamless panorama on a cylindrical screen. It has hardware decoding of ultra-wide video, per-projector warp, blend and colour correction, a calibration studio, and unattended-exhibit features such as a watchdog and play-on-boot.
Challenge
Several projectors had to throw one seamless panorama onto a cylindrical screen, and the exhibit had to start playing as soon as the power came on, with no operator.
